[Flood-Control] TSSWCB Board Approval for Additional O&M Allocation

To all watershed program sponsors:
On January 17, 2019 the State Board approved an additional $2,000,000.00 ($1,900,000.00 O&M) ($100,000.00 administration) for O&M for FY 2019.  These funds are available to be allocated immediately.  Proposals will be approved until funds are exhausted or until April 30, 2019, whichever occurs first.  All work must be completed by July 31, 2019.
TSSWCB POLICY FOR O&M ALLOCATIONS
Attached you will find the current policy and procedures that are used to approve proposals for Operation and Maintenance grants under the TSSWCB Flood Control Dam Program.
PROCEDURES
It is important that sponsors do not award a bid or start work until TSSWCB issues a Purchase Order.  It is also important that if the final cost will exceed the approved Purchase Order because of quantity variations or other causes, the Purchase Order must be modified before the work is completed.  See attachments for additional details.
BIDDING AND BONDING REQUIREMENTS
Attached is a form titled "Assurances - Flood Control Programs" that must be fully filled out and signed by the responsible entity requesting state funds.  This completed form must be attached to each proposal in order to be considered for funding.
