[Flood-Control] O&M Allocations and Policy for FY 2019

*_To all watershed program sponsors:_*

On July 31, 2018 the State Board approved $1,000,000.00 ($950,000.00 
O&M) ($50,000.00 administration) for O&M for FY 2019.These funds are 
available to be allocated beginning September 1, 2018.

Attached are procedures for O&M proposals under the new financial system 
which begins September 1.It is important that sponsors do not award a 
bid or start work until TSSWCB issues a Work Order.It is also important 
that if the final cost will exceed the approved Work Order because of 
quantity variations or other causes, the Work Order must be modified 
before the work is completed.See attachment for additional details.

*_Bidding and Bonding Requirements _*

Attached is a form titled “Assurances – Flood Control Programs” that 
must be fully filled out and signed by the responsible entity requesting 
state funds.This completed form must be attached to each proposal in 
order to be considered for funding.

*_TSSWCB POLICY FOR O&M ALLOCATIONS, 3/28/2018_*

On 3/28/2018, the State Board approved changes to the methodology that 
is used to approve proposals for Operation and Maintenance grants under 
the TSSWCB Flood Control Dam Program.  This policy will be effective for 
fiscal year 2019.Attached is the current policy and a table with the 
maximum number of proposals allowed for each SWCD.
