To All Watershed Program Sponsors:
Please see the message below from Dan Sebert, National Watershed Coalition, about an “Easement Basics for Watershed Projects” webinar.
We receive a lot of questions from sponsors about land rights and easements because of urban development and energy exploration activities around dams.
This webinar should be very helpful in answering your questions.
Thanks.

Friends,
Hope this finds you well and behaving in a CDC like manner!

There are many tools that Watershed Project Partners use..from an axe to heavy equipment, survey equipment, software packages, databases and beyond. One of the most important and sometimes least understood tools in the Project Sponsor's toolbox in the easement. Understanding what easements are, what they do and don't do as well as the responsibilities of those who hold them and those who give them is important to effective project management. Please consider joining our upcoming webinar for a high cut look at easements as they relate to Watershed Projects. We recommend that sponsors, NRCS and Agency partners participate. "Seating" is limited so register now! This is a great socially distanced learning opportunity and the first of several NWC will bring your way. Please feel free to share with others who share our common Watershed Program Partner connection. Thanks in advance for your efforts to spread the word!

Thanks,
Dan
