[Flood-Control] FW: REMINDER: TWDB Flood Mitigation Funding and Resources Webinar

To All Watershed Program Sponsors:
We are past the scheduled times for the webinar, but a recording of the webinar will be posted to the TWDB web in the near future.
In the meantime, please review the information below and at the TWDB web site.  Applications for 2020 funding from the TWDB Flood Infrastructure Fund (FIF) are due June 15, 2020.
You will find in the information that eligible projects include development of Emergency Action Plans (which would include preparation of dam breach inundation maps).
I believe that dam repair, rehabilitation, and upgrade are also eligible for funding. Details on funding grants, cost-share rates, and priorities are given on the TWDB web.

Between the TSSWCB Flood Control Program and the TWDB Flood Infrastructure Fund, there are some great opportunities currently available to help sponsors of watershed program dams.

REMINDER: Flood Mitigation Funding and Resources Webinar

The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) invites stakeholders to attend a Flood Mitigation Funding and Resources Webinar on Thursday, April 23, at 2:00 p.m.

The webinar will present an overview of the Flood Infrastructure Fund (FIF) Intended Use Plan, a walk-through of the FIF abridged application (due by 5:00 p.m. on June 15), and an introduction to the Flood Information Clearinghouse website.
